"Sei Sonate per Cembalo" is a spectacle of musical dissemination about the keyboard collection composed by Alberto José Gomes da Silva, in Lisbon, in the second half of the 18
th century. The spectacle begins with the projection of the documentary film "Reencontro" that tells the journey of the researcher to meet the work and its composer, and another journey that led the harpsichordist to the United States of America to meet the Calisto harpsichord, a Portuguese harpsichord of the time, preserved at the National Music Museum in Vermillion, South Dakota. After the film, the audience will have the opportunity to attend a presentation on the particular and unique characteristics of the discographic edition of the collection, recorded for the first time in a historical Portuguese harpsichord, and to watch the interpretation of some sonatas of this collection on the harpsichord.
